Choose one other person to go thru the dodge ball adventure, it can only be played locally/remote play.
Fun
The hype music and the quirky cast of characters get you in the mood for fun. You jump in and then have to try to dodge everything thrown out you while trying to dish it back.
Difficulty
Some levels do get quite hectic so keeping your eye on the ball is key, your ball can get caught and some of the later items require you to acknowledge their patterns. Also offered is three different difficulty levels, so you can challenge yourselves as you like from the start.
Engaging
I can not say we have played any dodge ball adventure games prior but I will say the unique take along with each level having new set of enemies and theme, it keeps you intrigued on what is next. They also let you play as different characters.
Family Friendly
Kids play dodge ball in schools sooo that’s good enough? But really this game is lighthearted and when a player is hit they get dazed with stars above there head and then if hit again they fall down, nothing violent about it!
Casual
The controls are simple as well as each level on loss can be restarted whenever if you need a break or have to resume at a later time.
What we liked
Stikbold! is simply a great to play with a friend. The art style mixed with the fun soundtrack makes an engaging game. It is basically dodge ball but more fun and dramatic. Each opponent has their own funny backstory and glamour.
What we would change
Overall, there is nothing you can change about this game. It is what it wants to be and it shows. Stikbold! is fun, engaging and everything you can ask for when playing a game with a friend.
What made it unique
Stikbold! is unique in that it isn’t fully like dodge ball. You’re not in a court and you are not restricted to a side of the level. On top of that, the clean art style and music make for an atmosphere that a lot of games are lacking and hope to create.
